Some witnessings of the day:
A sixth grade boy removing ear wax from the ear of a fellow sixth grade boy.
A girl brand new to our school offering to give a brand new mask she had to another student—five of whom did not have a mask within an hour of arriving at school.
“I did it,” said the boy who popped our brand new rainbow balloon, within the first hour of our first class.
Me spending an entire assembly trying to wake up two sixth grade boys who appeared to not have slept for three or more days straight.
My new homeroom co-teacher sternly reprimanding a boy in Chinese for three minutes straight for grabbing the neck of another boy.
