A Curated Photo Just For YOU

In the first of a new series, I have chosen one of my ten favorite photos of summer to share along with its location and a brief reason why I chose the photo. 


I had arrived too late to the Grand Palace in Bangkok and been turned away by military guards. As I turned around, I glanced across the street. Within a bustling flood of tourists were several Buddhist monks, as there are several large temples nearby. 

A taxi, complete with Thai writing on the door, pulled alongside one monk just as he stared down at his cell phone, grinning.
