This is why we need a mask mandate. This is why we have sensible restrictions for businesses. This is why, even when we disagree or question, schools have just closed.

Observe the red line shooting up vertically. Here in central Kentucky, this is how quickly virus cases would rise if there were no restrictions.

Of course, we want and absolutely NEED the green line going south. But look where even mid and low-range compliance with restrictions could get us.

Either way, we MUST take action to protect the most vulnerable among us.
